Welcome to Iasi!

Iasi Airport
It is tiny!

Waiting at the Vienna Airport

Dani and Alie
Dani
We had just traveled for 8 1/2 hours from D.C. to Vienna so we were a little tired. Only 2 hours left to go!!!
Natasha and me :)

Our first Sunday dinner together!

Fajitas!!!

Girl's Night!

This is our living room/ my bedroom :)
I know the entire semester is basically "girls night" but when you add the title it makes it okay to have rediculous amounts of chocolate! :) Alie made no bake cookies with what she could find. They were actually really good.

Just a few of the amazing buildings to be found all over Iasi!

The Apartment!

Living Room

We were all hit pretty hard with jet lag.
Entry way

Back bedroom

We were still unpacking :)
Kitchen

I was suprised at how nice our apartment is. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing amazing, but it does have two bathrooms, running water, a washing machine, and a warm shower. :)

Cultural Palace

The Cultaral Palace Museum is right next to the church so we pass it everyday as well. It's an amazing building!

We were told that this is the oldest church in Romania. Its about a one minute walk from my apartment and I pass everyday on the way to the orphanage. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside!

More views from the balcony!

View from Scala apartment

This is the view from my apartment balcony. I'm on the sixth floor so I have a fantastic view of downtown Iasi. The red building (bottom) is the Moldova Mall. The little tents in the ground (top) cover the piatza. We have everything we need right around us!
